natural herbs for you & your pets holistic health

Hello Friends, Anubis & I are sharing our 3 favourite natural herbs for holistic health and healing with you this morning. These have been game changers for us!

Ashwagandha (Root): It is an evergreen shrub that grows in India, the Middle East, and parts of Africa. Most notably the root can reduce stress + anxiety, help fight depression and calm nerves.

Dandelion (Flower Petals): You may find these in your backyard! Super source of antioxidents, they can assist in relieving pain from headaches, backaches & menstrual cramps. This part of the plant has a higher level of polyphenols (than its leaves/roots). Polyphenols may aid in the prevention of cardiovascular disease & cancer.

Licorice (Root): Glycyrrhiza glabra, a flowering plant native to Western Asia and Southern Europe with a sweet flavour. The root can treat ailments like heartburn, acid reflux, hot flashes, coughs, and bacterial and viral infections. It has is said to have anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial properties. These commonly come in pill form (if you do not like working with roots) or you can buy them as teas. May be harder to find dandelion petals in pill form.

BONUS: These 3 herbs (dandelion root, leaves not favourable) are also safe for cats & dogs.
